The off-site engineering includes 220kV power supply engineering and railway dedicated lines.
ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project
On the morning of April 7th, the People's Government of Guangdong Province and ExxonMobil held a video conference to jointly negotiate and promote the construction of ExxonMobil's Huizhou ethylene project. Guangdong Governor Ma Xingrui and ExxonMobil Global Chairman and CEO Woodlen attended the video conference.
The ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project will be implemented in two phases, with the first phase being the construction of crude oil steam cracking, polyethylene, polypropylene and other process units, as well as supporting public works. Phase II: 1.2 million tons/year ethylene unit, polyethylene, polypropylene, butyl rubber and other process units, as well as supporting public engineering units, storage and transportation packaging units, auxiliary production facilities, and system engineering.
The total investment of the project is 65067 million yuan. The investment plan for 2020 is 13.6 million yuan, mainly for land reclamation and heavy cargo dock foundation construction, as well as the construction of a comprehensive service office building.
Changqing Ethane to Ethylene Project
On the evening of March 28th, the Changqing Ethane to Ethylene Project Department conducted a briefing on the construction general contract of the Changqing Ethane to Ethylene Project in the resident conference room. The project leader, department directors, and professional leaders participated in the briefing.
There are a total of 5 disclosure contracts this time, which contain a large amount of information. The project marketing and operation department covers the engineering overview, schedule requirements, work scope, material and equipment supply, change claims, construction and quality requirements HSE management requirements and other aspects were clarified for 5 contracts, and the same terms in the 5 contracts were summarized and organized in a targeted manner, greatly improving the efficiency of the clarification.
Tarim Ethane to Ethylene Project
On March 24th, welding work on the column base of the cracking furnace No. 4 is underway on the 2200 acre construction site of the Tarim ethane to ethylene project. It is reported that the Tarim ethane to ethylene project has officially resumed work recently. All participating units have arranged for personnel to return, organized equipment procurement, and entered the site to accelerate project construction.
This year is the "year of process installation and production preparation" for the construction of ethane to ethylene projects, with heavy tasks and tight schedules. Tarim Oilfield is accelerating the organization of personnel to return to work, seizing the progress of design review, closely monitoring the arrival of key materials, and striving to complete the on-site construction of ground management and civil engineering foundations before May 15th, creating favorable conditions for the timely completion of the project.
The Tarim ethane to ethylene project is the first application of "self owned resources+free technology" in China's ethylene industry. It has a dual demonstration role of leading the comprehensive utilization of domestic natural gas resources with high added value and reducing dependence on foreign ethylene process technology. It shoulders the important mission of building a domestically leading, internationally competitive, green and intelligent national demonstration project. The project started construction on June 19, 2019 and is planned to be completed in 2021. At that time, it will form an industrial cluster led by ethylene in southern Xinjiang.
Hainan Refining and Chemical Million ton Ethylene Project
On the morning of April 8th, the supporting dock project of Hainan Refining and Chemical Company's 1 million tons/year ethylene and refining renovation and expansion project started construction in Yangpu Economic Development Zone, Hainan. After completion in 2022, it will help Yangpu vigorously develop port oriented industries and effectively expand the scale of import and export trade.
This project involves the construction of four berths, including one 50000 GTLPG berth, two 20000 ton liquid chemical berths, and one 30000 ton bulk cargo berth (the berth length is sufficient for two 5000 ton bulk cargo ships to berth at the same time, while also accommodating one 20000 ton dangerous goods roll on/roll off ship to berth, and also serving as a heavy cargo unloading function during the construction period). The total length of the port coastline used is 1215.9 meters, with a sea area of 100.63 hectares. At the same time, a breakwater of 1935.8 meters, a diversion embankment of 700 meters, and a road connecting the land area to the factory area of 85.6 meters will be constructed. The expected throughput is 5.0813 million tons/year, and the designed throughput capacity is 5.62 million tons/year.
The Hainan Refining and Chemical's annual production of one million tons of ethylene project is a key engineering project in Hainan Province and Sinopec, with a total investment of 28.1 billion yuan. After completion and operation, it will directly drive downstream industries worth over 100 billion yuan, greatly promoting the development of the industrial chain.
Since the resumption of work on February 7th, the project has completed the foundation pre-treatment work 20 days ahead of schedule. Currently, pile testing and dynamic compaction testing are being carried out, and it is expected to start ground pipe and road construction in May.
